Sabine Bendiek has been Chairwoman of the Management Board, Microsoft Germany since January 2016. Bendiek holds a Master of Science degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge (MSc) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim. At the beginning of her career, Bendiek worked for McKinsey, Booz Allen as well as Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems.

Subsequently, she was responsible for Dell’s Small and Medium Business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria where she contributed a significant share to the company’s earnings. Prior to joining Microsoft Germany, Bendiek held the position of Vice President and General Manager for EMC Germany. At EMC she focused on the transformation of the company into a provider of hybrid cloud and software solutions.

Meanwhile, Bendiek looks back on more than 20 years of professional experience as an executive in the technology industry. She is also a member of the executive board of the industry trade association BITKOM.

Hans-Paul Bürkner was president and chief executive officer of The Boston Consulting Group from 2004 to 2012—the company’s fifth CEO. Before taking on that role, he was head of BCG’s global Financial Services practice, the chair of the practice areas, and a member of the Executive Committee.

Under his leadership, BCG established the Public Sector and Sustainability practices, the social-impact and education initiatives, and the Insurance and Marketing and Sales practices. In addition, 18 offices were opened around the world. The partner group and the global staff more than doubled and revenues tripled.

Hans-Paul’s key focus areas have been globalization and transformation. The opening up of economies around the world and connectivity through technology have created enormous momentum,  opportunities, and challenges for countries and for companies—in both emerging and developed markets.

Hans-Paul joined BCG in 1981, and over the course of those three-plus decades he has counted among his clients many of the world’s leading companies. He has helped to redefine strategies and organizations, spearheaded major global expansion initiatives, and supported companies in the fundamental transformation of their businesses.

Today, Hans-Paul travels extensively in the 46 countries in which BCG operates in order to support key clients and teams.

Timotheus Höttges, born in 1962, is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Deutsche Telekom AG since January 2014. 

From 2009 until his appointment as CEO, he has been member of the Group Board of Management responsible for Finance and Controlling.

From 2006 to 2009 he was member of the Board of Management responsible for the T-Home unit. In this position, he was in charge of fixed-network and broadband business, as well as integrated sales and service in Germany. Under his leadership, T-Home became the market leader in terms of new DSL customers and developed its Internet TV service, Entertain, into a mass-market product while at the same time stabilizing its profitability. 

After successfully implementing various cost-cutting programs at T-Home and in the European mobile communications subsidiaries, Mr. Höttges became responsible for the Group-wide Save for Service efficiency enhancement program. From 2005 until being appointed to the Group Board of Management, Mr. Höttges headed European operations as member of the Board of Management, T-Mobile International. From 2000 until the end of 2004, he was Managing Director, Finance and Controlling, before becoming Chairman of the Managing Board of T-Mobile Deutschland.  

Mr. Höttges studied business administration at Cologne University, after which he spent three years with a business consulting company, latterly as a project manager. At the end of 1992, he moved to the VIAG Group in Munich. He became divisional manager in 1997 and, later, a member of the extended management board responsible for controlling, corporate planning, and mergers and acquisitions. As project manager, he played a central role in the merger of VIAG AG and VEBA AG to form E.on AG, which became effective on September 27, 2000.

Pierre Nanterme is Chairman & CEO of Accenture, a US$32.9 billion global professional services company.

Prior to becoming CEO in January 2011, Mr. Nanterme was group chief executive of Accenture's Financial Services operating group. He has also served as Accenture's chief leadership officer and as Accenture's country managing director for France.

Mr. Nanterme represents Accenture in a number of external venues including the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council and its IT Governors Steering Committee, the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council and the B20 Summit.

Mr. Nanterme joined Accenture in 1983 and became a partner in 1993. He holds a master of science degree in management from ESSEC Business School (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) in Paris.

Klaus Rosenfeld (b. 1966) started his professional career as a trainee banker at the Dresdner Bank and subsequently studied business administration and economics at the University of Muenster.

After graduating, he returned to the Dresdner Bank in 1993 and worked in the Structured Financing Department of the Investment Banking Division. From 1997 onwards, he was Assistant to the CEO Bernhard Walter and his successor Prof. Dr. Bernd Fahrholz. In 2001, he became Chief Representative and Deputy Head of Finance and Controlling. In 2002, Klaus Rosenfeld was appointed Member of the Board of Managing Directors of Dresdner Bank AG, with responsibility for Finance & Controlling, Compliance, and Corporate Investments.

In March 2009, Klaus Rosenfeld joined the Schaeffler Group as Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity he restructured the Group’s corporate and capital structure by a number of complex transactions. In 2009 he was appointed Member of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG. In October 2013, Klaus Rosenfeld assumed the position of CEO on a temporary basis in addition to his role as CFO. He was appointed CEO of Schaeffler AG in June 2014. Until March 31, 2015 he was also in charge for the Finance department. After accessing the debt capital markets in February 2012, Schaeffler AG went public in October 2015.

Rajeev Suri is the President and CEO of Nokia and a leader with a passion for creating value, innovation, and delivering technologies that have a positive impact on people’s lives. He has a deep expertise in many areas of technology, particularly telecommunication networks & devices, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, digital health, big data analytics, cloud computing, and internet business models.

In his more than 27 years of international experience, Rajeev has worked in roles comprising strategy and M&A, product marketing, sales, major account leadership, regional and business unit leadership and has lived in Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Rajeev has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Communications) from Manipal Institute of Technology, India. He was born in India in 1967, is a Singaporean citizen and is based in Espoo, Finland. He is also a United Nation’s Broadband Commissioner, and is a vocal proponent of the opportunities broadband offers to enhance how people live and work.
