Robert Milliner is a Senior Adviser, International Affairs at Wesfarmers Limited, Senior Adviser at UBS and Senior Adviser to the Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce. He is a non-executive director of AusNet Services Ltd and Global Infrastructure Hub Ltd (a G20 initiative).
He was the B20 Sherpa for Australia for 2014, a member of the Steering Committee for the Turkey B20 2015, a Special Adviser to China B20 2106 and member of the China B20 International Cooperation Committee. He is one of Australia’s 3 representatives on the APEC Business Advisory Council. Robert is Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Young Australians and a Director of the Australian Charities Fund.
Previously he was Chief Executive Partner of Australia’s pre-eminent international law firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons) and a partner of that firm for 28 years. Robert has been a Director of the Business Council of Australia, chaired the Business Reform Task Force and was a Member of the Global Engagement Task Force.
He has Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours), University of Queensland, a Master of Business Administration, University of Western Australia and attended the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School.
