B20-Event at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) takes place from June 1-3, 2017 in St. Petersburg. Discussions evolve around a wide range of global economic issues such as the future of the global trading system and financial markets, growth and investment, energy issues and economic cooperation.

Together with our partners, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and the BDI’s German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, B20 will host a panel on international trade and investment. Heads of major companies and business associations, senior government officials from B20 countries, high-ranking representatives of international organizations, and experts will discuss the B20’s recommendations on increasing the effectiveness of international trade and investment policies and inclusive growth. This session aims at enhancing the involvement of business leaders, authorities, and the media in public discussions of B20 recommendations.
