B20 Letter urges United States to remain in Paris Climate Agreement

The B20 sent a letter to the G20 Sherpa of the United States, urging the U.S. Administration to remain in the Paris Climate Agreement and to play a leading role in its implementation.

To address climate change, action must be taken. The Paris Agreement lays out the essential goals, and all stakeholders must now live up to their commitments. We need to change how we produce and consume energy in all parts of our societies. At the same time, we need to ensure competitiveness, economic growth, and jobs, thereby enabling businesses to use their innovative power to protect the climate and enable the transition towards a sustainable world economy.
